Sam Dilbeck grew up in Caddo, Oklahoma, where he married his high school sweetheart, Julie Mitchell. In 1992, they moved to Austin, Texas to attend Southwest School of Bible Studies where Sam graduated in 1994.

 

After preaching school, Sam and Julie moved to Granite, Oklahoma and worked with the church there for two years and their first child, Jason, was born (1995). In the summer of 1996, they began working with the church in Leonard, Texas and stayed eleven years. While in Leonard, their second son, David, was born (1998). In the spring of 2007, the family moved to Corsicana, Texas where Sam served as the pulpit minister at Westhill Church of Christ for 10 years.

Sam began preaching in Brighton, Colorado in July 2017.  

 

In addition to Southwest, Sam has attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University, Texas A&M University at Commerce, and Amridge University where he earned his undergraduate degree (B.A. in Bible Studies). He has extensive formal training in speech communication and informal training in graphic design. Sam worked with The Gospel Journal as a graphic designer, and also edited and designed Pierced, a spiritual magazine dedicated to teens and young adults. Sam and Julie are both accomplished graphic artists and use their talents to help further the cause of Christ.
